Stunned Mother Ponders Last Name Change: Cheyenne Oxsenknecht Contemplates Surname Modification
In an unexpected development, Cheyenne Ochsenknecht, the daughter of renowned German actor Uwe Ochsenknecht, has announced that she is considering changing her last name. This revelation was made during an interview with Stern magazine and further discussed on the family's reality show, "Diese Ochsenknechts."
Cheyenne, who is 25 years old and lives on a farm in southern Styria with her husband Nino Sifkovits (30) and their two children, expressed that she does not wish to be defined solely by her name. She believes that changing her last name could help free her from the burdens it carries and allow her to forge her own identity.
While her mother, Natascha Ochsenknecht, is reportedly shocked and appalled by the idea, her brother, Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, finds it amusing. Interestingly, Jimi had considered changing his name three years ago, but ultimately decided against it.
Cheyenne's contemplation of changing her name is not related to her brother's actions. Jimi, who was recently convicted for an unpaid hotel bill, has since reconciled with Yeliz Koç, the mother of his daughter Snow.
The strained relationship between Cheyenne and her father, Uwe, could potentially be seen as a factor in her decision. Cheyenne previously stated that her father doesn't fit into her "healthy world." However, she clarified that her contemplation of changing her name is not a direct statement to her father.
Regardless of her decision, Cheyenne is clear that she doesn't need her famous last name to make her way in life, whether in the spotlight or away from it. She prefers her current lifestyle over red carpets, choosing to live a simple life on the farm with her family.
