Little Dot Studios Expands Its Scripted YouTube Offering with Acquisition of 500 Hours of Content
Little Dot Studios, an All3Media company, has announced a significant acquisition of 500 hours of content from Shoreline Entertainment and The Asylum. This move is expected to bolster Little Dot Studios' scripted YouTube offering, with content scheduled to roll out across the network in H2 2025.
The Asylum, known for its popular B-movies like 2-Headed Shark Attack, Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus and Sharknado: Heart of Sharkness, will contribute the remaining 300 hours of content. The remaining 200 hours are music documentaries from Shoreline Entertainment, featuring the careers of global icons such as AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, David Bowie, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Queen, and Elvis Presley.
David Rimawi, Partner at The Asylum, expressed his enthusiasm about the new partnership, stating, "We are thrilled to be partnering with Little Dot Studios. Their digital network of over 135 channels and six FAST channels will provide a perfect platform for our content."
Madison Clarke, Executive Assistant to the CEO at Shoreline Entertainment, echoed Rimawi's sentiments, expressing excitement about expanding their relationship with Little Dot Studios. Clarke also praised Darren Asamoa, an executive at Little Dot Studios, for his straightforward approach and humor.
Little Dot Studios' Director of Content Acquisitions & Partnerships, Connie Hodson, praised the new content acquisitions, stating, "We are delighted to have secured this deal with Shoreline Entertainment and The Asylum. The acquired content is a perfect match for our channel portfolio and genre expansion goals."
The acquired content will be available on channels like Absolute Sci-Fi, while the music documentaries will be published on Amplified, part of Little Dot Channels. It's an exciting time for Little Dot Studios as they continue to grow their digital network and scripted YouTube offering.
