Studio by the Lake Festival Wraps Up with Teen Disco Hit
The Studio by the Lake festival concluded with a lively disco in Hall 8 at the Yachthafen, directly overlooking Tollensesee. The event, organised by the Studio Association, received widespread praise from attendees in its fifth year.
The festival's teen disco showcased local talent, with bands like TheLeocraft, Ilinca, MXPave, C.R.Y.S., and June taking to the stage. Four 17 and 18-year-old musicians performed their debut concert, drawing inspiration from popular indie music. Francesco Wilking, lead singer of 'Die Höchste Eisenbahn', even joined the crowd in a mosh pit.
The festival hall was transformed into a dance floor within three days, hosting various acts from Neubrandenburg. DJ Apocalypto kept the energy high, playing a mix of rock, drum'n'bass, and nu-metal hits. The Datzeberg choir 'Schallplatte' also made an appearance, performing a unique version of 'Bürotage'.
Stephanie Wunder, a local artist, painted a stage painting during the three concerts. This artwork was later auctioned off to raise funds. The festival also included a children's concert with craft corners, face painting, and braiding activities.
The Studio by the Lake festival ended on a high note, with the teen disco proving to be a hit among attendees. The event's organisers, the Studio Association, received great appreciation for their efforts. The festival's impact on the local music scene was evident, with many talented artists and bands taking the stage.
