"Zarnitsa 2.0" is more than just a game; it's a government-funded youth competition designed to teach children and teenagers aged 7 to 21 various military skills. Participants join in teams and choose military roles such as Squad Commander, UAV (drone) Operator, Medic, or Assault Trooper.
The event's program spans several days and includes competitions on specially equipped polygons and in natural environments. Activities include air gun shooting, drone operation and piloting courses developed as “Drone Academy”, disassembling and reassembling assault rifles quickly, and performing tasks modeled on real combat missions.
Christina Mazurova, chairperson of the district branch of "First Movement", has noted the team's readiness for challenging trials. Participants will face physical challenges during the competition, and communication problems will be a part of the tasks for participants.
In addition to the competitive part, a cultural-educational program is prepared for the participants. This includes meetings and interactions with participants of a special military operation.
