Striker of Schalke offers self-defense:

In a recent turn of events, FC Schalke 04 striker Moussa Sylla has denied allegations that he left his dog, Ghost, with a pet sitter and did not want it back. The pet sitter, identified as Luffy, is accused of deliberately cutting off contact with the Sylla family and illegally holding the dog and its documents.

The controversy surrounding Ghost's care arose when Luffy allegedly demanded a sum of money disguised as a donation to her animal shelter as a condition for returning the dog to Moussa Sylla. However, the core issue revolves around the dog’s unauthorized introduction and subsequent rejection by Sylla, which has resulted in legal trouble because the dog was introduced illegally.

Moussa Sylla's lawyer, Dylan Bourkab, has issued a statement on Instagram denying the allegations. Bourkab stated that Ghost was never abandoned and that the media campaign against Moussa Sylla is based on false, distorted, and taken-out-of-context information. Despite the legal complications, Moussa Sylla has expressed his desire to reunite with his beloved pet, posting a picture of himself on a walk with Ghost on his Instagram account.

Bourkab also stated that he will use all legal means, both in France and internationally, to stop the harmful actions and defend the rights and dignity of Moussa Sylla and his family. However, the lawyer's statement does not provide details about the identity or motives of the media outlets spreading the unfounded accusations, nor does it clarify whether the media campaign against Moussa Sylla is still ongoing.

The public's reaction to the case has been largely negative, with many expressing sympathy for Moussa Sylla and his family. As the situation continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how the legal proceedings will proceed and whether Moussa Sylla will be reunited with his dog, Ghost.
