Kingsley Coman Joins Al Nassr in Three-Year Deal

Football star Kingsley Coman has left Bayern Munich to join Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr on a three-year contract, set to run until 2028. The transfer fee paid by Al Nassr was slightly below €30 million.

With this move, Coman will team up with footballing heavyweights such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Iñigo Martínez, and João Félix, who have also recently signed for Al Nassr.

In his farewell message to Bayern Munich, Coman reflected on nearly a decade at the club, highlighting his achievements, including 9 Bundesliga titles, 6 Super Cups, 3 German Cups, a Club World Cup, and his iconic winning goal in the 2020 Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain. He expressed deep gratitude to the fans, staff, coaches, and teammates, emphasizing that Bayern will always be part of him and wishing the club continued success.

Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl also praised Coman, remarking on his unique success with the club and his eternal place in Bayern's history. Coman's Bayern stats include 339 competitive appearances, 72 goals, and 71 assists.

Meanwhile, Inigo Martínez, a 34-year-old center-back, has left Barcelona to join Al Nassr, though the exact team he will be joining in the Saudi league remains undisclosed. Martínez mentioned that he was pleasantly surprised by Cristiano Ronaldo, the team captain, upon meeting him and found a good atmosphere within the Al Nassr team.

Apart from Kingsley Coman, Al Nassr has Cristiano Ronaldo, João Félix, and Sadio Mané as options. Jorge Jesus, the manager of Al Nassr, has stated that joining the club will be the "biggest challenge of his career."
