Danna Er, a renowned expert in international arbitration, has joined Addleshaw Goddard as a partner in their Singapore office. Her arrival marks a significant addition to the firm's team of experienced partners, bolstering their capabilities in the region.

With over 15 years of experience in international arbitration, Danna Er's expertise spans a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure, energy, and construction. Her practice encompasses various arbitration forums, such as the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR).

Danna Er's involvement with SIAC and her commentary on international arbitration developments in the Asia-Pacific region, including Singapore and Southeast Asia, suggest that her expertise extends to complex cross-border commercial disputes, a category that often includes infrastructure and energy sector arbitrations in the region.

Jonathan Tattersall, head of Asia at Addleshaw Goddard, expressed admiration for Danna Er, stating, "Danna's deep understanding of infrastructure projects and dispute resolution mechanisms complements our existing capabilities perfectly." Danna Er's appointment increases the number of partners in Addleshaw Goddard's Singapore office to five, following the addition of Chanaka Kumarasinghe and Matt Gorman. Her arrival supports the firm's growth strategy in Southeast Asia and is a significant step in their regional development.

Prior to joining Addleshaw Goddard, Danna Er worked at Pinsent Masons and Clyde & Co. Most recently, she was a partner at Eldan Law. Danna Er is also a qualified adjudicator, adding another dimension to her dispute resolution skills.

In her new role, Danna Er will lead Addleshaw Goddard's Korea Business Group, further expanding the firm's regional footprint. Her appointment is set to be a pivotal moment in Addleshaw Goddard's growth strategy for Southeast Asia.

As Danna Er settles into her new role, the firm looks forward to leveraging her extensive experience and expertise in international arbitration to deliver high-value outcomes for their clients across the region.
