Visma-Lease a Bike Bolsters Roster for Upcoming Summer Season

Visma-Lease a Bike, a leading cycling team, is fortifying its lineup ahead of the upcoming summer season. Currently topping the Grand Tour rankings with Jonas Vingegaard and Matteo Jorgenson, the team is welcoming several new members.

Firstly, Timo Kielich from Alpecin-Deceuninck joins the team. Known for his versatility in both climbing and sprinting, Kielich is expected to strengthen Visma's squad.

Another notable addition is Davide Piganzoli, an Italian climber with consistent performances in major races. Piganzoli, who placed 13th in the 2024 Giro d'Italia and 14th in 2025, has also secured victories and podium finishes in several races. He will join Visma's development group, preparing for a step up to the WorldTour level in the next season.

Piganzoli's arrival is accompanied by that of Filippo Fiorelli, another promising Italian rider who joins from VF Group-Bardiani CSF-Faizanè.

The Head of Racing at Visma-Lease a Bike, Grischa Niermann, has been instrumental in these signings, previously bringing in several talented riders.

Meanwhile, there are departures from the team as well. Dylan van Baarle will move to Soudal-QuickStep in the next season, while Olav Kooij will leave Visma to join Decathlon. Tiesj Benoot will also join Decathlon in the same period.

Cyclingnews will provide updates and analysis on all the latest transfers in the men's and women's pelotons throughout the transfer season. The team at Cyclingnews will also maintain a transfer index, keeping track of all the recent moves in the sport.

As the summer season approaches, Visma-Lease a Bike looks set to continue its dominance with a reinforced roster. The team's strategic acquisitions demonstrate a commitment to maintaining its position at the forefront of professional cycling.
