On Saturday, November 25, the Krasnodar Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring predicts persistent rain to hit the Krasnodar region. The forecast calls for cloudy conditions with occasional clearings, along with strong southern winds that might gust up to 20 mph in certain areas. Temperatures will drop to between 6°C (42.8°F) and 11°C (51.8°F) at night, but will rise during the day to a range of 13°C (55.4°F) to 18°C (64.4°F). The Azov coast will see temperatures steadying between 9°C (48.2°F) and 14°C (57.2°F); in the mountains, temperatures will fluctuate from -2°C (28.4°F) at night to 6°C (42.8°F) during the day; and on the Black Sea coast, the temperatures will be around 8°C (46.4°F) at night and 13°C (55.4°F) during the day.
In Krasnodar, temperatures are expected to hit 18°C (64.4°F) during the day. Heavy rain was reported on Friday evening in the Tuapse district and Goryachy Klyuch.
Looking ahead to Sunday, Krasnodar may experience temperatures as high as 22°C (71.6°F) with the possibility of thunderstorms.
Sochi is also bracing for strong winds and heavy rains on the first day of the weekend. River water levels could potentially reach dangerous heights, as per the city administration. City services have been put on high alert, following orders by Alexei Kopaigorodsky.
