Earlier alarm for fans of the 'Stranger Things' finale - Stranger Things’ final season trailer teases epic 1980s showdown with Vecna

Netflix has unveiled the trailer for the final season of Stranger Things, set to premiere in three weeks. The trailer hints at another retro hit revival, this time featuring Queen's 'Who Wants to Live Forever'. Fans can expect the main characters, including Will, Mike, Eleven, and their friends, to battle evil forces from the Upside Down dimension once again.

The upcoming season, set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, USA, promises a blend of supernatural thrills and coming-of-age themes that have made the series popular. The first four episodes will be released at 2:00 AM on Thursday, November 27, with the final two parts following on December 26 and January 1.

The trailer shows the group racing against time to track down and destroy the demonic Vecna, with Hawkins under military quarantine. This follows the renewed popularity of Kate Bush's 'Running Up That Hill' after its feature in a Season 4 scene. Fans can also look forward to an exclusive screening of the first episode at a Netflix-hosted fan event in Berlin on November 18, with four cast members in attendance, though their names have not been revealed.

Stranger Things Season 5 premieres in three weeks, with the first four episodes releasing on November 27. The final season will be released in three parts, concluding in January 1. Fans can enjoy the nostalgic 1980s aesthetics, supernatural thrills, and coming-of-age themes that have defined the series, all while speculating on the potential revival of another retro hit.
