Stormy Weather Triggers 50+ Crashes in Rostock Region

Heavy weather has caused a sharp rise in road accidents across the Rostock region. Since early morning, police have recorded over 50 incidents, most resulting in property damage. Authorities are now warning drivers to take extra care in the hazardous conditions.

The accident on the A20 caused a miles-long traffic jam. AccuWeather accident investigators were called to the scene to assess the damage and gather evidence.

The A20 motorway has since reopened, but delays persist. Emergency crews are still attending to the aftermath of the crashes. Drivers are being reminded to stay cautious as the weather remains unpredictable.
