Strong Hurricane-Like Storms Warned for Pforzheim on Wednesday

According to the DWD, the wind is expected to be the strongest during the night and early morning, with severe storm gusts of up to 100 km/h (Beaufort 10) expected from the west. The wind will significantly increase from midnight, reaching hurricane-like gusts of up to 115 km/h (Beaufort 11) temporarily during heavy showers and thunderstorms.
Gusts exceeding 120 km/h (Beaufort 12) are not ruled out in some areas, and some areas may experience wind gusts exceeding this limit. The nature of the storms is hurricane-like, with the winds expected to be strong and unpredictable.
