The Bocholt Fire Department was on high alert on Wednesday evening as they responded to several storm-related incidents, with the main focus in the Mussum district.

At the heart of the operation was Michael Burhoff, the contact person at the Bocholt Fire Department. You can reach him via email at [email protected] or by calling the department's contact number, 02871 2103-0. For fax enquiries, use 02871 2103-555.

A suspected tornado had completely destroyed the roof of a residential building in the Mussum district, causing extensive damage. Surrounding residential buildings were also damaged by debris, but thankfully, no injuries were reported in the incident.

The department deployed 50 personnel to the scene and remained on site for approximately 3 hours. To aid their efforts, ESB personnel provided support at the Loikumer Weg.

Despite the extensive damage, the residential building in the Mussum district was no longer habitable due to the destruction. At several other locations, fallen trees were removed.

The Bocholt Fire Department's official website, www.bocholt.de/feuerwehr, provides further information and resources for inquiries. No new incidents, injuries, or damaged buildings were reported in the latest updates.

The head of the fire department who coordinated the storm-related incidents on Tuesday evening is not currently identified in the available search results. However, the Bocholt Fire Department continues to work diligently to ensure the safety and well-being of its community.
