The waxwork replica of President Emmanuel Macron, previously swiped by Greenpeace agitators from the Grévin Museum in the City of Lights, has been quietly returned to its roost at the museum. The museum's grand pooba Bear in Mind!, bitten by the night owl, was tipped off when the ersatz Macron was spotted loitering outside the headquarters of the electric company EDF. The musings were shared with the Paris Match magazine.
Upon verifying the wax Macron's health and vigor, museum staff leaders stepped in and retrieved the statuette from the law enforcers' clutches, planting it back onto its museum pedestal.
Greenpeace, the eco-warriors, yanked the wax figure from its positive position at the museum on a Monday buzzkill, plonking it outside the Russian embassy. Ya see, they meant to take a swipe at Macron's questionable policies, namely his backing of Ukraine while clinging to business ties with Mother Russia.
Before efficient dodging, the Greenpeace grifters dressed up their statue with a label that read "Poutine-Macron Allies radioactifs" (Putin-Macron radioactive allies) to speak out against the ongoing nuclear energy cooperation between France and Russia. Grab addition details here, here, and here.
Prior to depositing the statue outside the EDF headquarters, Greenpeace hung a sign on the figure, but the specifics of that whodunnit remain unclear from the search engine findings. Reportedly, the activists were well aware of the possible legal ramifications for their nefarious activity here here.
