In an unexpected turn of events, the Atlanta Police Department is currently investigating the theft of sensitive materials belonging to global superstar Beyoncé. The incident occurred on July 8, 2025, during a stop of her Cowboy Carter tour in Atlanta.

According to reports by CNN, two suitcases containing hard drives with watermarked music, unreleased music, footage plans, and past and future set lists were stolen from a Jeep Wagoneer parked on the first level of a parking deck at 99 Krog St. NE. The stolen items also included a Tumi book bag valued at $750, $1,000 worth of clothing, and a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses valued at $500.

The investigation was led by the Atlanta Police Department's Larceny from Auto Unit. Among the stolen items were two laptops, one belonging to Beyoncé's choreographer Christopher Grant and the other to one of her backup dancers, Diandre Blue. Blue also reported a Macbook Air and a pair of headphones as missing.

Beyoncé is set to perform in Las Vegas on July 25, but her final concert in Atlanta is scheduled for Monday night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Despite the setback, it is unclear whether this incident will affect her upcoming performances.

An arrest warrant has been issued for an unnamed suspect, but the identity of the suspect has not been publicly disclosed, and the individual has not yet been apprehended. The authorities are actively working to locate the suspect and recover the stolen items.

This incident serves as a reminder for everyone to take extra precautions to secure their belongings, especially in public places. The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
