Stolen Unreleased Music by Beyonce from a Car in Atlanta

In a shocking turn of events, Beyoncé's unreleased music and concert plans were stolen during a break-in in Atlanta on July 8, 2025. The incident occurred from a rental car used by Beyoncé's choreographer, Christopher Grant, and a dancer.

The stolen items included multiple jump drives, an Apple MacBook, headphones, and several items of luxury clothing. The jump drives contained watermarked music, unreleased music, footage plans for the 'Cowboy Carter' tour, and past and future set lists.

Atlanta police have responded by issuing an arrest warrant for a suspect connected to the theft, though detailed information about the suspect has not yet been released. Law enforcement is actively working on the case.

Christopher Grant reported the theft to police and used the 'Find My' feature to track his stolen Mac devices. Beyoncé and her team continued their 'Cowboy Carter' tour while closely monitoring the situation. As of now, updates on the recovery of the stolen materials have not been detailed publicly.

The 'Cowboy Carter' tour, which aims to elevate Black artists in country music, ended its Atlanta leg on July 14. The tour kicked off in April after Beyoncé won the 'Album of the Year' Grammy for the 2024 album. The 'Cowboy Carter' album, historically rooted and aiming to innovate and push boundaries in music, saw Beyoncé staking out musical territory in a different genre from much of her previous discography.

No arrests have been made in connection with the theft as of July 14. The tour is winding down as Beyoncé prepares for her final performances in Las Vegas. The theft occurred from a car whose rear window was smashed, and the police investigated an area where the MacBook and headphones had pinged their location, but no items were recovered.
