In the charming town of Eschwege, a series of unusual incidents have taken place at the park 'An den Anlagen'. On Wednesday, a 27-year-old from Kassel had a sports bag containing sports equipment, a high three-digit amount of cash, various credit cards, including a Chase card and an Amex card, and personal documents stolen while they were briefly inside the kiosk 'Späti 37'.
The theft occurred between 12:30 PM and 12:55 PM, and the unknown individuals responsible were not noticed during the incident. The Eschwege Police are investigating three cases related to this incident: one case of theft, two cases of computer fraud, and one case of attempted computer fraud.
The thieves made several fraudulent purchases in the city center, totaling a low three-digit amount of damage. The stolen Chase and Amex cards have been used fraudulently to obtain further goods.
One bizarre incident occurred at around 2:41 PM on Wednesday, when the thieves attempted to buy an expensive jacket at a sports store in the 'Stad' area of the Schlossgalerie Eschwege.
