Stolen Pedelecs and Bicycles Found in Garden Sheds of Nümbrecht, Wiehl
In a series of unfortunate events, two garden houses in the town of Wiehl were targeted by thieves on the night of Monday, 8th September. The Waldbröl Criminal Investigation Unit is currently investigating these incidents and is accepting tips from the public.
The first burglary occurred in Rommelsdorfer Street, where a garden house was broken into between 6 PM and 8:15 AM. Two e-bikes made by "Focus" were stolen in this incident. Around the same time, another garden house in Wiehl was targeted, and two mountain bikes were stolen. One of these mountain bikes was made by "Bulls" and the other by "Orbea".
In a separate incident that occurred on the same night, a garden house in Wiehl was burglarised. No publicly available information about the individuals involved in a protection order case by the Oberbergische police during this time has been released. The stolen e-bikes in Rommelsdorfer Street are a blue and a red one, while the two stolen mountain bikes were from "Bulls" and "Orbea".
The total number of bikes stolen in these incidents is now four. The Waldbröl Criminal Investigation Unit is urging anyone with information related to these thefts to come forward. Tips can be submitted via email at [email protected] or by calling the unit at 02261 8199-0.
