Zelnick explained that while releasing GTA 6 in the original autumn window would've been a triumph, it wouldn't have met the standards for excellence[4]. So now, it's off to May 2026 we go.
But don't worry, seersucker-suited investors, Take-Two assures you not to panic[2]. They expect to rake in more cash than your uncle who married a rich widow, even with the delayed GTA 6 release[2]. Take-Two promised it would still set new records for net bookings in fiscal 2026 and the following fiscal year of 2027[2].
