Get ready for an intense sibling rivalry on the latest "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" Special! The show is in the headlines not just for the massive jackpot, but for the heated competition between two male policemen. A rollercoaster ride of emotions, mistakes, and unexpected twists await you.
This special edition of "Millionaire" promised a big win, but it was the inter-brotherly feud that stole the show. It all started when Felix Groß had won 32,000 euros a year and a half ago, irritating his police officer brother Andreas. The audience was in for a treat as Jauch announced that the longstanding competition between the brothers would finally be settled in the show.
Police versus Police
With the audience eagerly awaiting the Brothers' confrontation, Jauch posed questions to Andreas for every answer. Felix initially struggled while Andreas started gaining points. However, things took a dramatic turn when Andreas found himself in a dilemma.
Jauch asked for 64,000 euros: "In the election of the tree of the year 2025, attention was drawn to the toxicity of what: raw sweet almonds, early ripe peanuts, dried raisins, unpeeled cashew nuts?" Andreas hesitated, heavily leaning towards sweet almonds, just like his brother and the lifeline. A biotech researcher as an additional lifeline vetoed all answer options except for cashew nuts.
Andreas had a tough choice to make. In the end, he trusted the calm, argumentative lifeline and doubled his brother's winnings. The 35-year-old managed to answer eleven questions correctly, just like his two years younger brother Felix. Meanwhile, Sophia Schubert won a quick seat and was eliminated on the second question while Martina Göbel was grilled harshly for her incorrect answer on a Monopoly board.
We saw other contestants falling left and right, but it was Florian Sauerbeck, a software developer from Munich who worked on autonomous driving, who took the whole show by storm. He secured the hot seat with a selection question about Formula 1 and benefited from good lifelines.
Florian almost made it to the 250,000 euro mark, but when Jauch asked about the political party founded in German Bad Münstereifel in 1973, which placed several presidents abroad, Sauerbeck struggled. Despite knowing the correct country, he bowed out, leaving the final question unanswered.
This special edition of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" promises a heated, drama-filled competition between the brothers, full of eyecatching twists and turns! Join us to witness whether Andreas or Felix comes out triumphant in this epic showdown!
