Stephan Eichhorn makes a change, leaving "Fun in the Grass" team after a tenure of 25 years

The Neuss Building Association is once again lending its support to the "Fun in the Grass" holiday action, ensuring another year of eventful days for children and young people.

Klaus Winkels, who has led the action for 25 years, is passing the torch to Stephan Eichhorn from "Contact Erfttal". Stephan, along with Alex Rhode, will be responsible for the kitchen at the event.

Stephan has been actively involved in the open tent camp for 20 years and is eager to bring his experience to "Fun in the Grass". He has proposed investing the support received from the Neuss Building Association in boats for paddle activities on the Erft, adding a new dimension to the diverse range of activities already on offer.

The "Fun in the Grass" holiday action offers a variety of activities, including role-playing actions, craft workshops, and sporting activities. Niki Luedtke, a board member of the Neuss Building Association, is glad to help make these eventful holiday days possible.

Up to 30 volunteers and honorary workers ensure the smooth running of the event, and their hard work is reported on a dedicated Instagram channel called "signeuss".

While details about future plans for "Fun in the Grass" are not yet available, one thing is certain - this Easter, the event will include an egg hunt after school dismissal. So, keep an eye on "signeuss" for updates!
