Stefanie Bucifal Sweeps 2024 Hildesheimer Lit Awards with Double Win
The 2024 Hildesheimer Literature Competition has concluded, acknowledging outstanding talent in both prose and poetry. Stefanie Bucifal, who has been making waves in the national and international literary scene, took home two prestigious prizes.
Bucifal's work was recognised in both categories. She received the Public Prize for Poetry, worth 1,250 euros, and also won the Public Prize for Prose, also worth 1,250 euros. This double victory is a testament to her versatility and skill.
Mitja Nikolaus also made a significant impact, winning the Public Prize for Prose. Meanwhile, Eline Menke impressed the jury with her poetic prowess, earning the Jury Prize for Poetry worth 2,000 euros. In the prose category, Mitja Nikolaus and Michael Stein shared the Jury Prize, each receiving 2,000 euros. Arnd Kemper and Christa Issinger, as well as Eva Christine Just and Cornelia Koepsell, each received Nomination Prizes worth 750 euros.
