"I'm Not Quitting Booze" – Stefan Mross Shrugs Off Alcohol Rumors
Stefan Mross remains resolute in his decision to continue consuming alcohol.
Screens of booze-related allegations against Stefan Mross started popping up around two years ago. His ex, Anna-Carina Woitschack, also stoked these flames. The talk show host feels besmirched and continues to imbibe, though in a more temperate manner.
Host of the ARD show "Immer wieder sonntags" (Always on Sundays), Mross, aged 49, is rumored to have had more than just a Sunday night drink.
The suspicions surrounding Mross's alleged drinking problem gained momentum when he unexpectedly backed out of the Munich Oktoberfest last September. Word had it that he collapsed during a wedding celebration the night prior.

"They're attempting to slap an alcohol issue on me that I don't have," he protested back in 2023. He also denied being carted away from the wedding and asserted that his Munich Oktoberfest cancellation was due to scheduling conflicts.
Under the Microscope Mross on Alcohol: "I Won't Turn Teetotal"" In an interview with "SuperIllu," Stefan Mross delved into various topics, including his relationship with alcohol. "I won't become abstinent," he declared, further stating, "Just because the press claims I'm looking into my glass too much, doesn't make it so."
Accompanied by his girlfriend Eva Luginger, whom he's been with for about two years, Mross professes to have toned down his partying days. "The wild parties I used to throw, I don't throw anymore. We prefer to dine out and I'll indulge in a glass of wine." In his own words, Mross maintains he has nothing to be ashamed of. "At the end of the day, I've never really done anything wrong – even if I've had a few breakups or wild parties," he says.
Allowing for the moderator to celebrate his double jubilee this year guilt-free. In 2025, it marks the 20th anniversary of his debut on "Immer wieder sonntags", and on November 26, he turns 50.
Music, folk music, TV – Mross's realm of influence shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.
