"I Ain't Giving Up Booze" - Stefan Mross Stands Firm on Alcohol Consumption

Stefan Mross remains committed to consuming alcohol consistently.

Rumors about Stefan Mross's alcohol problems have been circulating for about two years now, sparked primarily by his ex, Anna-Carina Woitschack. Despite these claims, Mross, the 49-year-old host of "Immer wieder sonntags," maintains his attitude toward alcohol remains unchanged.

These whispers of excessive drinking were further amplified when Mross mysteriously dropped out of the Munich Oktoberfest in September 2023. Reports suggested he had passed out during a wedding celebration the night before.

In response to these accusations, Mross fiercely denied any wrongdoing. "They're slinging mud at me, accusing me of something I don't have," he asserted. Regarding the Oktoberfest incident, he clarified, "The claim I was carried out is a bald-faced lie and a complete fabrication!" He canceled his appearance the following day due to scheduling conflicts, not due to intoxication.

In a recent interview with "SuperIllu," Mross spoke candidly about his relationship with alcohol. "I won't trade my pints for sobriety," he declared confidently, disregarding the media's portrayal of his drinking habits. "Just because the press says I'm tipping my glass a tad too often, doesn't mean it's the truth," he added.

Accompanied by his girlfriend, Eva Luginger, Mross has adapted a more moderate approach to his social life. "The rowdy parties I used to throw are just a memory now. Instead, we enjoy a quiet dinner together, and I'll have a glass of wine," he shared. Mross emphasized that he has nothing to regret. "In the end, I've never really crossed any lines - even if I've had my share of breakups and wild nights," he concluded.

As Mross prepares to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut on "Immer wieder sonntags" and his 50th birthday in November, he can do so with a clear conscience, protected from baseless accusations and enjoying his favorite drinks.

Other activities Mross and his girlfriend Eva Luginger have taken up include engaging in quieter dramas, such as having a peaceful dinner together, which has replaced Mross's wild party nights of the past. Despite the media's portrayal of his drinking habits, Mross still indulges in his love for alcohol, enjoying a glass of wine on occasion, aligning it with the world of entertainment and pop-culture, where celebrities often participate in such activities.
