In a thrilling preseason game, Jacksonville Jaguars rookie kicker Cam Little attempted a 70-yard field goal against the Pittsburgh Steelers, coming close to breaking the NFL record for the longest field goal. However, the kick did not set a new record as it was made during a preseason game.

Despite Little's impressive performance, his 70-yard kick does not officially break the record due to NFL rules excluding preseason statistics from record consideration.
The game was the preseason opener for both the Jaguars and the Steelers. Despite Little's heroic effort, the Jaguars lost the game with a final score of 31-25.
