State-of-the-Art Water Treatment Station Inaugurated in Bikin

A state-of-the-art automated water treatment station has been inaugurated in Bikin, Khabarovsk region. This significant development is part of the federal project 'Clean Water', with a total cost exceeding 2 billion rubles.

The project involved a comprehensive modernization of Bikin's water supply networks. Two new clean water reservoirs, each with a capacity of 2,000 cubic meters, have been installed. This has significantly improved the quality of drinking water for Bikin's residents.

The 'Clean Water' project has seen the construction of five water supply facilities across the Khabarovsk region. In Bikin alone, over 32 km of new water pipelines have been laid. These upgrades have resulted in around 16,000 residents now having access to quality communal services.

The project's success has led to a notable increase in the number of Khabarovsk region residents receiving quality drinking water from centralized systems. This figure now stands at 91.6%, surpassing the planned indicators by 3 percentage points.

The modern automated water treatment station in Bikin, along with the extensive network upgrades, has greatly enhanced the quality of communal services for its residents. The project, coordinated by Governor Sergey Khotinets, has not only met but exceeded its targets, providing clean water to a significant majority of the Khabarovsk region's population.
