President Tokayev Tours Bekzat Sattarkhanov Sports Complex and Daulet Tennis Center

Hopping over to the Bekzat Sattarkhanov Sports Complex and the Daulet Tennis Center, Kazakhstan's President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, made quite an impression recently. His visits were all about pushing sports to the masses and cheering on the up-and-coming athletes. Let's dive in!

The Bekzat Sattarkhanov Sports Complex

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev dropped by the newly-built Bekzat Sattarkhanov Sports Complex, funded by a private investor, to witness its multifunctional beauty. It caters to all sorts of sports like futsal, volleyball, basketball, and martial arts such as judo, boxing, and Kazakh wrestling. This game station is open to the public for sports events, recreation, and leisure activities that encourage some serious exercise!

The Head of State expressed his plans to construct more facilities like this one to skyrocket mass sports growth. He even spent face time with the young boxers and footballers, instilling in them the willpower to become future world and Olympic champions. After all, as the saying goes, hard work leads to victory!

The Daulet Tennis Center

Next on the itinerary was the Daulet Tennis Center of GKKP "Daulet". Home to a whopping 600 kids, 85 of them benefiting from government funding, this center houses 57 sports and health groups. The Daulet Center champions inclusivity by opening its arms to kids with special educational needs.

The center made headlines back in May when it played host to the Asian Virtus World Tennis Championship 2025—the first-ever such event in Asia, focusing on athletes with intellectual disabilities. Such initiatives mirror the government's commitment to promoting inclusive sports.

Promoting Sports Development Nationwide

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's visits to these facilities highlight Kazakhstan's dedication to the promotion of sports development. By focusing on multifunctional sports complexes and centers catering to all, the country is increasing access to sports infrastructure and empowering athletes from all backgrounds. Tokayev's meet-and-greets with young athletes show his commitment to nurturing future champions and skyrocketing Kazakhstan's sports presence on the world stage.
