State Farm Community Hoops Program grants inaugural selection to ACM in its list of recipient organizations
In an exciting collaboration, Overtime Select, a league dedicated to showcasing top high school-aged female athletes, has partnered with the Association of Children's Museums (ACM) as part of the State Farm Community Hoops program. This unique alliance combines sports, community development, and children’s educational experiences offered through museums.
Overtime Select's team captains chose ACM as the inaugural partner, highlighting their role in delivering impactful programming that connects youth basketball culture with broader community enrichment goals. The partnership aims to support community initiatives through basketball-related activities, leveraging the reach of Overtime Select and the backing of State Farm to engage and benefit children's museums nationwide.
The State Farm Community Hoops program, supported by Overtime Select, collaborates with ACM to provide community-focused opportunities. With more than 500 members in 50 states and 19 countries, ACM exists to enrich the lives of children worldwide.
This season, Overtime Select hosted 64 of the nation's top players. Each player will wear custom-designed warm-up shirts inspired by this mission, throughout the regular season. An on-court celebratory moment will highlight the donation at Championship Weekend, where every assist contributes to real change. A ceremonial donation based on in-game assists will be made directly to the Association of Children's Museums.
The partnership is a league-first initiative, chosen by Overtime Select team captains to support youth creativity, exploration, and education. Tati Griffin (Drifty Dreamerz) is associated with Kidspace Children's Museum, Oliviyah Edwards (Venom Tears) is connected to the Children's Museum of Tacoma, Saniyah Hall (All Knighters) is associated with the Children's Museum of Cleveland, and Kaleena Smith (ISO WRLD) is linked to Kidspace Children's Museum. The hometowns of the team captains include the Des Moines Children's Museum, Children's Museum of Atlanta, Please Touch Museum, and Delaware Children's Museum.
Arthur G. Affleck, III, President and CEO of the Association of Children's Museums, expressed gratitude for the partnership. This sponsorship aligns with State Farm’s broader efforts to support youth sports and community wellness initiatives.
Overtime Select provides players with opportunities to compete at a high level and build personal brands.
