In a significant development, Austrian authorities have arrested a 71-year-old man on Monday morning in Carinthia, suspected of being actively involved in anti-state activities since 2023. The man, known for his connections with state deniers in Germany, is believed to be a key figure in the "Federal State of Prussia," a group that denies the legitimacy of the Republic of Austria and its institutions.

The arrest was carried out by a joint team of officers from the Carinthia State Office for State Protection and Extremism, the Cobra special unit, the unit for combating street crime, and the operational department. The man's apartment was searched during the investigations into the "Federal State of Prussia."

According to the Klagenfurt Public Prosecutor's Office, the suspect is accused of threatening a judge to prevent a criminal investigation. However, no weapons were found during the search of his apartment. The man has sent numerous letters to authorities and attended meetings of the anti-state scene.

The man was accompanied by a 64-year-old German who considered himself a "consul" and carried a fantasy ID. The 71-year-old is considered particularly dangerous due to his contacts with state deniers in Germany.

The police take the suspect's connections with state deniers in Germany very seriously. The man's arrest follows a series of cases in Germany of armed attacks on police officers by Reich citizens, including fatal shootings during official duties.

Looking back at the history of the Federal State of Prussia, it is important to note that key figures had deep and foundational connections to Germany, primarily through political, military, and legal reforms culminating in the unification of Germany under Prussian leadership in 1871. These figures include Frederick II (The Great), Otto von Bismarck, Frederick William III, King William I, Karl vom Stein zum Altenstein, Wilhelm Anton von Klewitz, and Friedrich Ferdinand Alexander zu Dohna-Schlobitten, among others.

Their activities ranged from codifying laws and building state institutions to leading wars that altered the map of Central Europe. The legacy of these figures continues to influence political dynamics in Germany and Austria to this day.

The case is currently under investigation, and the suspect is expected to appear at the Klagenfurt Regional Court soon. The public is reminded to respect the judicial process and allow the authorities to carry out their duties in a fair and impartial manner.

The arrest of the 71-year-old man in Carinthia sheds light on the intricate links between Austrian anti-state activities, general news, and crime-and-justice, as the suspect is believed to be a key figure in the "Federal State of Prussia," a group that disputes the legitimacy of Austrian institutions. His connections with state deniers in Germany and his alleged attempts to threaten a judge are areas of significant concern.

As the case unfolds and the suspect's ties with German state deniers are further investigated, it is worth considering the historical context of Prussian influence, particularly in terms of political, military, and legal reforms that led to the unification of Germany in 1871, which includes notable figures such as Otto von Bismarck, Frederick the Great, and others.
