Nighttime lows will dip between -7°C and -12°C, with clear skies plummeting to a frosty -17°C to -22°C, while daytime highs will hover around -5°C to -10°C. The north-eastern regions will face a freeze between -12°C and -17°C, while the south will range from -3°C to +2°C. Expect somewhat gloomy skies with occasional clearings, with light to moderate snow or sleet in certain southern areas and rain elsewhere. Be prepared for ice and frost buildup, fog, and blizzard conditions due to winds blowing from the south at 5-10 m/s, gusting up to 14 m/s in the Vorkuta region.

A snow cyclone on the southern front will cause a delay in the cold snap until Sunday and Monday, resulting in substantial snowfall. precipitation could drop by 30-50% as compared to the February average, with snow cover increasing by 15 cm. Only on Tuesday-Wednesday, will the snowfall subside, and temperatures finally drop. The north and center will dive to -15°C to -22°C during the weekend, with potential nights plummeting to -30°C. Southern regions will face colder temperatures from mid-week, ranging between -8°C and -15°C.
