Austin Butler and Zoë Kravitz, who are currently working together on the film Caught Stealing, have found themselves at the centre of romance rumours due to their coordinated outfits and public appearances. However, multiple sources, including TMZ and Elle, have confirmed that the two are "just friends" and are not in a romantic relationship [1][3].

The speculation began around their work together, with photos of them kissing on set in October 2024 causing a stir. Yet, their joint appearances, such as attending the show Viola's Room with director Darren Aronofsky, have been clarified as non-romantic outings by insiders [1].

At the London premiere of Caught Steeling, both Butler and Kravitz turned heads with their stylish ensembles. Butler opted for a white shirt with a worn look, a dark brown jacket, pants with splashes of color, brown boots, and aviator sunglasses, while Kravitz chose a black neckholder dress with a deep neckline, high slit, and an eye-catching white bow [2]. Butler paired his outfit with black oversized blazer and matching pants, white top, fine chain, and black shoes, while Kravitz complemented her dress with black ballerinas and sunglasses.

Recent reports suggest that Kravitz was also linked with Harry Styles in 2025, further solidifying the platonic nature of her relationship with Butler [2]. The joint appearance at the London premiere has sparked romance rumours again, but it seems that their closeness stems from their professional collaboration and friendship rather than a romantic relationship.

In April, tabloid The Sun reported that there is chemistry between Kravitz and Butler off-screen, but they haven't labelled their relationship yet [4]. At a photoshoot on Tuesday, Kravitz wore a delicate yellow dress with ruffled sleeves, while Butler chose a dark brown jacket and matching pants [5].

It's important to note that Austin Butler and Kaia Gerber, who were a couple for three years, reportedly split at the end of last year [6]. Kravitz was also in a relationship with Channing Tatum until October 2024, and they got engaged in 2023 [7].

In one photo from the London premiere, Butler has his arm around Kravitz, and they are both smiling at each other [2]. Despite the rumours, their friendly and affectionate body language suggests that they are comfortable and at ease with each other, but there is no evidence to support a romantic relationship between the two.
