Dennis Ten, a Kazakh figure skater of Korean descent, was a shining beacon in the world of figure skating. His shining moment came at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi where he won the bronze medal in men's singles figure skating, making him the first and only athlete from independent Kazakhstan to achieve such a feat. This victory not only brought him international acclaim but also put Kazakh figure skating on the global map and inspired a new generation of skaters in his home country.
Dennis Ten's contribution to the sport did not stop at his competitive career. He produced the ice show "Dennis Ten and Friends" from 2013, a production that attracted international tourists to Kazakhstan.
