In a candid chat with Jörg Assenheimer (55), host of the "Assenheimers Promitalk" podcast, Kerstin Ott shares some insight into the behind-the-scenes of big Schlager shows: "We're typically tucked away in our own dressing rooms, and then we scatter to our own corners."
However, there's a select few that aren't so quick to say their goodbyes. "I've got a small squad of artists I really click with, and we'll chat or exchange pleasantries after the show. But for the most part, the relationships aren't as tight-knit as you might think," Ott explains. Exactly which artists are we talking about? "Maite Kelly, for instance, or Ben [Zucker, Ed.], those are my ride-or-die buddies. Or Giovanni [Zarrella, Ed.]," she reveals.

But are these colleagues more than just workmates? "If we had more time to grow our bond, absolutely," Ott muses. She's on the hunt for more great people to add to her circle. "Maite is an incredibly deep individual, and we also seem to be in sync at a fundamental level, philosophically speaking," the singer enthuses.
