Star-studded OTTplay Awards 2025: Manoj Bajpayee, Jaideep Ahlawat, Kajol, and Jyotika Triumph in Recognition of Exceptional Indian OTT Performances

The OTTplay Awards 2025, held at Mumbai's JW Marriott on March 22, 2025, was a grand celebration of India's thriving streaming industry. Over 80 industry luminaries graced the event, including Manoj Bajpayee, Jaideep Ahlawat, Kajol, Jyotika, Rajkummar Rao, Nimisha Sajayan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Sriimurali, Hina Khan, Kani Kusruti, Avinash Tiwary, and Aditi Rao Hydari.

The event, co-presented by Real Juice and Kuhl, and held in association with HT City, honoured the best in web series and films under the banner of 'One Nation, One OTT Award'. Aparshakti Khurana and Kubbra Sait hosted the evening, bringing energy to the stage.

The night was filled with moments of recognition and celebration. The Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Lives and Shark Tank won awards, as did Panchayat, Girls Will Be Girls, Freedom at Midnight, Paatal Lok, Poacher, IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack, and Black Warrant.

Manoj Bajpayee won Best Actor (Popular), while Jaideep Ahlawat and Raghav Juyal won Best Actor (Male) in the Critics' and Popular categories, respectively. Kajol won Best Actress (Popular), and Parvathy Thiruvothu won Best Actress (Critics). Jyotika won Best Supporting Actress (Female).

The Family Man trio (Manoj Bajpayee, Priya Mani, and Neeraj Madhav) shared the stage for the first time since Season 1. Kunal Kohli presented Kajol with her award for Do Patti. The event also featured cross-generational celebrations, including an impromptu acting masterclass from Anupam Kher's 1984 classic Saaransh.

Aditi Rao Hydari was recognized for her impactful performance in Heeramandi, and Sriimurali and Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar received special felicitations from the Kannada film industry.

Manoj Bajpayee publicly applauded Nimisha Sajayan's rising body of work, and Miheeka Daggubati accepted the Best Talk Show Host award on behalf of her husband, Rana Daggubati. The OTTplay Awards 2025 was a night to remember, a testament to the growing influence and quality of India's streaming industry.
