Star ballet dancers Hugo Marchand and Hannah O'Neill set to take the stage at Paradise Art Night, a notable event during Frieze Seoul 2025.

Paradise City, an art-entertainment resort near Seoul's Incheon Airport, is set to host two exciting events in October 2023 and 2025. In October 2023, ballet dancers Hugo Marchand and Hannah O'Neill from Opera National de Paris Ballet will perform at the Paradise Art Night. This isn't their first time dancing to contemporary art, as they previously performed at Anselm Kiefer's Field of the Cloth of Gold exhibition in Gagosian's Le Bourget, France in 2021.

Hugo Marchand, a principal dancer with the Paris Opera Ballet, is looking forward to his first performance in Korea. He expressed his sensitivity to the environment, stating that he feels different vibrations depending on his location. Before his Korean debut, Marchand is set to collaborate with Jean-Michel Othoniel at Palais des Papes, Avignon for "Midnight Souls".

Meanwhile, Marchand is also scheduled to perform at the "OTHONIEL COSMOS" or the Ghosts of Love exhibition in France before gracing the stage at Paradise Art Night in South Korea.

Paradise City, ranked amongst ArtNews' top 200 collectors worldwide by its owner, Phillip Chun, aims to be a 'hub of new Asian modern and contemporary art where Korean and global cultures are brought together.' The public areas of Paradise City feature over 3,000 artworks, including pieces by Yayoi Kusama, Damien Hirst, Anish Kapoor, Jeff Koons, and KAWS, as well as works by Korean artists Lee Bae, Park Seo-Bo, Kim Hodeuk, and Kim Tschang-Yeul.

In addition to the ballet performance, Frieze Seoul 2025 will feature 120 galleries from around the world. Joel Mesler's work will be previewed at Paradise City's Art Space gallery as part of Frieze Seoul's launch event.

Phillip Chun envisions Paradise City as both an exhibition and a gallery, hosting art happenings, installations, and live events. Last year, Paradise City hosted a special sale with digital-first auction house Joopiter, which was co-hosted by Pharrell Williams and South Korean rapper G-Dragon.

With its rich history of hosting art events and its impressive collection of artworks, Paradise City is the perfect venue for Frieze Seoul 2025 and the Paradise Art Night. Hugo Marchand and Hannah O'Neill's ballet performance promises to be a unique and unforgettable experience, blending the worlds of art and ballet in a way that only Paradise City can.
