Standings in LIV Golf Tournament: The victors, the vanquished, and the upcoming events following Chicago event

In the latest instalment of the LIV Golf series, the Bolingbrook Golf Club in Chicago played host to a thrilling event. The team standings after the LIV Golf Chicago event saw Legion XIII clinch the first position, with Crushers GC and Fireballs GC following closely in second and third, while Stingers GC secured fifth place.

This victory marks a significant milestone for Stingers GC, as they become the fifth different team to win a LIV Golf event this season. Legion XIII has emerged as the most successful team so far, having won four events, followed by Crushers GC and Fireballs GC with three each, and Ripper GC with one.

In the individual standings, Jon Rahm continues to dominate the 2025 LIV Golf season, leading with 226.16 points. He is closely followed by Joaquin Niemann, who has 223.68 points, just behind Rahm. Rahm's top spot was secured after a final round 60 at LIV Golf Indianapolis and a consistent season with multiple top-five finishes, despite Niemann's strong challenge.

Bryson DeChambeau and Sebastian Muñoz complete the top four, with 144.74 and 133.06 points respectively. The race between Rahm and Niemann was particularly close, with Niemann narrowly missing out on overtaking Rahm in the season finale.

The next LIV Golf event will be the LIV Golf Indianapolis tournament. In the individual standings, Joaquin Niemann leads with 208.43 points, while Jon Rahm is in second place with 196.16 points.

The team event at LIV Golf Chicago saw Stingers GC emerge victorious, thanks to Dean Burmester's individual title win and a strong team performance. Burmester secured his second individual title of the season with a birdie on the first playoff hole, and his teammates Charl Schwartzel and Branden Grace each birdied the 18th to seal the team victory.

However, not all players have enjoyed such success. Tyrrell Hatton has slipped to 25th place in the LIV Golf Zones, while Mito Pereira, Andy Ogletree, Ian Poulter, Yubin Jang, and Frederick Kjettrup are in danger of relegation. Adrian Meronk currently sits in 19th place in the LIV Golf Zones.
