St. Petersburg braces for winter as first snowfall blankets the city

St. Petersburg has experienced its initial snowfall of the season. Despite temperatures above freezing, the city is prepared, with Anastasia Ivanilova overseeing snow monitoring and safety measures, and Dmitry Volkov, head of Krasnogorsk Urban District, ensuring all resources are on high alert.

Over 200 vehicles have been deployed to clear roads, sidewalks, and pathways in Krasnogorsk following heavy snowfall. Municipal and road services are working tirelessly to remove the snow and ensure safety.
