The Shooting Club St. Ingbert 1897 e.V. held a well-attended regular general meeting last Friday evening at the shooting range. The event marked a significant change in the club's leadership, with new board members taking on various roles.

Michael Kohl took over as the first treasurer, while Erik Baumbach was appointed as the second treasurer.

In other changes, Helmut Stalter was elected as the Sports Coordinator and Small Caliber Coordinator, and David Kirschenmann became the Youth Coordinator. Michael Matheis was appointed as the Press Coordinator, while Carlos Kretschmer took on the role of the Press Coordinator.

The archery department, under the leadership of Peter Hoffmann, the new Archery Coordinator, achieved several regional championships in both individual and team categories. This success was reflected in the club's overall sports performance, with 447 starts at championships resulting in 272 podium places, including nine regional championship titles.

The meeting also saw the installation of an electronic shooting book and a comprehensive modernization of the shooting stands, indicating a commitment to investing in the club's technical infrastructure.

Heinz Münzebrock, the former long-serving second chairman, was appointed as an honorary member. A moment of silence was held to remember club members who passed away last year, with Rolf Arras being mentioned in particular.

The club's annual report, presented by Benjamin Backes, highlighted key developments such as maintaining a membership of 442 members and the aforementioned investments in technical infrastructure. The extended board now includes Francis Mulattieri as the Stand Coordinator, Philipp Beyersdörfer as the Weapon Coordinator, and Achim Steinfels as the 1st Economist for the extended board. Viola Zengerle, Stefan Schönthaler, and Heinz Münzebrock are the new deputies on the extended board.

With this new board in place, the Shooting Club St. Ingbert 1897 e.V. is well-positioned for both sporting success and club culture in the coming year.

Sports were a significant aspect of the club's activities, with Helmut Stalter being elected as both the Sports Coordinator and Small Caliber Coordinator.
