SSB Oberhausen hosts sports event: Oberhausen celebricates sports day on June 29, 2025
Prepare your street shoes and join the fun on Sunday, June 29, 2025, as we shift the Lindnerstraße 2b sports facility into a pulsating sports arena for Oberhausen's Day of Sports! It's more than just an event – it's a joyous gathering for the community and a resounding declaration of our love for sports clubs in town. Admission? Completely free!
Ready to shake your groove thing? Esteemed guests, including our jovial Mayor Daniel Schranz, and the president of the city sports association, Manfred Gregorius, will introduce the blustery carnival at 12:30 PM. A kaleidoscopic program filled with energy and cheer iis lined up, bustling with events like Zumba, Drums Alive, or Aroha – there's something for everyone on that stage!
For the thrill-seekers, take an opportunity to challenge yourself at beach handball, beach volleyball, basketball, walking football, or flag football. Or test your aim in the captivating sport of darts.
Little competitors won't be left out, with plenty of diversions up their sleeves! With a football driving license, a bouncy castle, an obstacle course, and everyone's favorite game, 'mobile', the day promises a blast of fun for our young champions!
Band together for sports! This year, we're embracing a crowdfunding initiative onboarded with the assistance of our beloved energy supplier, Oberhausen (evo). The goal? To bolster Oberhausen’s sports clubs through long-lasting financial support. Currently, we've reached 23% of our goal – but to secure the funding, a full 100% is required.
