Meet Tamara Podpalgina, a powerlifting powerhouse from Altai, Russia. This two-time Paralympic gold medalist just added four more medals to her collection, triumphing at the World Para Powerlifting Cup in Beijing.

Self-proclaimed Paralympic powertrainer, "Altai Sport" shares that despite winning an impressive four medals, Tamara lost only to a Chinese athlete in the overall standings.

Boasting an impressive lineup of 160 athletes from 23 different countries, the competition served as a showdown for the best of the best.

Hailing from Ust-Kalman district, this fearsome competitor topped the up to 55 kg weight class, raking in two overall medals and two among the veteran athletes.

Impressively, Tamara also took home a silver medal for the best lift, and another for her total of three lifts. This marvelous feat saw her hoisting barbells weighing 110, 113, and 115 kg, setting three records in the 50+ age group, making it one wild workout!
