Swerve Sports Launches on The Roku Channel and Pluto TV, Revolutionising Women's Sports

Swerve TV, the innovative media company behind the successful Swerve Combat channel, is expanding its horizons with the launch of Swerve Sports. This new channel, set to air on The Roku Channel, Pluto TV, and other platforms, is poised to redefine the landscape of women's sports by offering unprecedented fan engagement opportunities.

Christy Tanner, one of Swerve TV's all-star leaders, has spearheaded the development of Swerve Sports. Tanner, who has a proven track record of creating leading livestreaming multiplatform businesses for global media companies like CBS, is confident that Swerve Sports will create new opportunities for the all-stars of women's sports.

Swerve Sports aims to cater to the Gen Z audience by providing more live and on-demand content for women's sports, following the successful model of their combat sports channel, Swerve Combat. The channel will feature highlights, series, and films about women athletes and those who have been pivotal in advancing women in sports, supported by extensive partnerships with content providers such as Athletes Unlimited Pro Volleyball, Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball, and the Women's Football Alliance, among others.

Dan Keston, another leader of Swerve TV and an award-winning producer and media executive, heads the content at Swerve TV. Keston's expertise is instrumental in curating content that is engaging, informative, and entertaining for the viewers.

Steve Shannon, yet another key figure in Swerve TV's leadership, played a significant role in launching Roku's content and advertising monetization business. His experience and insights have been instrumental in ensuring that Swerve Sports is well-positioned for success.

Swerve Sports is not just about live events. It's about redefining what's possible in women's sports. By offering 24/7 access to women's football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball, gymnastics, boxing, rugby, and more, Swerve Sports is setting a new standard for women's sports coverage.

The channel will make its debut on The Roku Channel and Pluto TV on August 7, with other platforms like Anoki following suit later this summer. Swerve Sports is marketing itself with the tagline "Where Women Rule the Game," a testament to its commitment to women's sports and the empowerment of female athletes.

With Swerve Sports, Swerve TV is once again applying the same innovative approach that fueled the breakout success of Swerve Combat, demonstrating their unwavering dedication to pushing the boundaries of sports entertainment.
