Sports official attends the 70th anniversary celebration of the sports schools
On Friday, September 19, 2025, the Elite Sports School will be hosting its annual School Festival at the school complex located at Amselweg 49. This year's event marks a significant milestone, as it celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Sports Schools Halle.
Organised by Our website (ps), the School Festival promises to be an exciting day filled with various activities. One of the highlights of the day will be a charity run, organised by students from the 12th grade at the Elite Sports School. The charity run will take place within the school premises.
The School Festival will kick off with a special opening ceremony, where Dr. Judith Marquardt, the Commissioner for Culture and Sport, will be in attendance. The State Sports Association, which runs the boarding school and cafeteria, will also be presenting special offers during the festival.
The morning of the School Festival will offer young aspiring athletes the opportunity to try out various sports offered at the school. From 9 am to 12 pm, they will have the chance to participate in a variety of sports activities, providing a unique insight into the world of competitive sports.
The School Festival is not only about sports and charity, but also about community and celebration. It is a chance for students, parents, teachers, and the local community to come together and celebrate the rich history and achievements of the Elite Sports School.
