PAX West 2022 to Host Splatoon 3 Invitational and More
Get ready for a splashing good time at PAX West 2022, as Nintendo is bringing the action to Seattle! The highly anticipated Splatoon 3 invitational will take place on September 5 in the PAX Arena.
If you're a fan of Splatoon 2, you'll be excited to know that the top finishers from the Splatoon 2 Inkopolis Showdown 2022 tournament have been invited to compete. Twelve top racers from the Mario Kart North American Open July 2022 tournament will also join the fun.
But that's not all! Multiple teams of four will battle it out to ink the most turf on the map within three minutes. The competition is sure to be intense, so be sure to catch the livestream via Nintendo's YouTube and Twitch channels.
If you want to get in on the action, you'll need a Warp Pipe Pass. Warp Pipe Passes for the Splatoon 3 demo are assigned randomly from the pool of participants that have registered. Registration is open now at our website and ends August 28 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

The Nintendo Booth at PAX West from September 2-5 will be transformed into the sun-scorched Splatlands from Splatoon 3. Attendees can play a demo of multiplayer Turf War battles in Splatoon 3, so don't miss out on the chance to get a sneak peek at the game before it launches on September 9.
For those who love Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, PAX West's Almost Pro open tournament, taking place September 2-4, features the game. The winner of this tournament will be invited to compete in the Panda Cup Finale in December. The Panda Cup, featured in the Almost Pro open tournament, is the next stop on the Panda Cup series.
But wait, there's more! The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Championship Cup 2022 invitational will also be held at PAX West on September 5.
