Spiny angel
Spiny angel

Embracing the "Kill 'em with Kindness" mantra, I adopted a more amiable approach during the holiday season, even in packed German metropolises. With a dash of Spanish 'carino', I endeavor to extend warmth and understanding to strangers, in stark contrast to the sometimes brusque German approach to friendliness.

Reflecting upon Jagoda Marinić, the 'spiny angel', her ideas seemingly stand in stark contrast to the commonly rough German attitude towards kindness. Her words resonate, especially during the winter grayness, encouraging us to view others as fellow travelers in need.

Contrastingly, German cities are home to an array of initiatives aiming to boost community involvement and tackle social challenges. Diversified assemblies like the Citizens' Assembly on Education and Learning empower citizens to actively participate in policy-making, fostering a more participatory and inclusive atmosphere.

This shift towards more inclusive and participatory governance might signify a gradual transformation in the prevailing attitudes towards kindness and community bonding in German cities. Though, without specific insights into Marinić's perspective, directly linking her thoughts to the broader context is difficult.
