Spiderman 4's latest set photos unveil the on-screen debut of the Punisher's acclaimed Battle Van.

In the heart of Glasgow, Scotland, the sets of Spider-Man: Brand New Day (also known as Spider-Man 4) are buzzing with activity as filming for the highly anticipated Marvel movie is currently underway.

One of the most intriguing aspects of the upcoming film is the villainous lineup. While no specific details about the movie's main villain have been confirmed yet, it appears that the criminal organization Advanced Idea Mechanics (AIM) will play a significant role. Silver Samurai, Viper, and other villains connected to AIM are set to make an appearance, with Silver Samurai's presence strongly indicated by leaked concept art.

Other confirmed or strongly rumored villains include Scorpion (Mac Gargan), reprised by Michael Mando, and Mister Negative (Martin Li), leader of the Inner Demons gang. Tombstone, Boomerang, Tarantula, and Ramrod are also potential villains, although their roles in the film have yet to be confirmed.

Interestingly, the Punisher's Battle Van makes its big-screen debut in Spider-Man 4. The vehicle, adorned with a skull on its bonnet in new images, is a familiar sight from the comics and the Netflix show The Punisher. Its presence in the new movie has sparked discussions among fans, with some finding it unusual for the Punisher to put his logo on the hood of a vehicle.

Tom Holland's Spidey can be seen perched atop the Battle Van in these images, adding to the excitement surrounding the movie.

Joining the cast in mystery roles are Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas, whose roles have yet to be revealed.

The film's lead actors, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, and Mark Ruffalo, are reprising their roles as MJ, Ned, and Bruce Banner/the Hulk respectively.

Marvel Phase 6 includes other upcoming Marvel movies and shows, with Spider-Man: Brand New Day scheduled to release in theaters on July 31, 2026.

Behind-the-scenes photos from the set have been released, offering glimpses of the new comic-accurate get-up for the Punisher and the new suit for Spidey. A behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Disney Plus Punisher special also teases Frank Castle's new comic-accurate get-up.

As filming continues, fans eagerly await more details about the plot, characters, and the exact nature of the villainy that awaits our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
