Spice Girls' Mel B surprises attendees with a performance at a wedding function
Mel B and Rory McPhee recently held a second wedding celebration, this time in the vibrant city of Marrakech, Morocco. The couple, who had already tied the knot in London earlier in July 2025, chose Selman Marrakech as their exotic venue.
Mel B looked resplendent in a sheer red Justin Alexander gown, adorned with intricate hand-beading and a Moroccan-inspired veil. The colour choice was symbolic, paying homage to Morocco's vivacious and warm culture, and the gown was a testament to Mel B's desire to look like a "floating mermaid" as the sun went down. Her three daughters played crucial roles in the ceremony. Phoenix walked her down the aisle, while Angel served as a groomsman and Madison was a bridesmaid in a coordinated red satin dress.
The wedding was a heartfelt continuation of Mel B and Rory's union, filled with music, laughter, and lots of emotions. Mel B's Spice Girls bandmate, Mel C, was also in attendance, joining Mel B for a surprise duet and dance, a nostalgic moment reminiscent of the band's heyday.
The choice of Marrakech was significant to Mel B, as it was the last holiday destination she visited with her late father, Martin, before his death in 2017. She felt her father's presence throughout the entire weekend of the celebration. The Moroccan ceremony was rich in local traditions, providing a cultural backdrop that complemented Mel B's vision for a "spiritual, sexy and beautiful" wedding.
The event was more than just a celebration; it was a testament to love, family, and the enduring spirit of Mel B and Rory's union.
