Spending Habits of Davido as Revealed by Ubi Franklin Regarding Chioma
In a recent turn of events, music executive Ubi Franklin has come to the defence of Chioma Adeleke, Davido's long-term partner, regarding allegations of one-sided gift-giving in their relationship.
During Davido's 30th birthday two years ago, Chioma reportedly bought him 30 gifts, a fact recalled by Ubi Franklin. He emphasized that just because these gifts are not showcased on social media does not mean Chioma hasn't reciprocated Davido's generosity.
The defence comes after a social media user questioned why Chioma had never gifted Davido, despite his lavish gifts to her, including a reported $300,000 Richard Mille wristwatch. Ubi Franklin's statement aimed to counter the narrative that gift-giving in the relationship was one-sided.
Ubi Franklin also urged people not to turn their relationships into a competition for social media appearances.
Elsewhere, Ubi Franklin was involved in denying unrelated theft allegations at Davido’s Miami wedding, a controversy Davido dismissed to maintain focus on the couple's joyful wedding celebration.
Meanwhile, during a recent episode of Hot Takes, singer Praiz addressed the topic of rejection in romantic interests. He pointed out that many struggle when a romantic interest is not returned and expressed comfort with women approaching him first in dating dynamics.
