Slap bang in the middle of Arrakis' yawning dunes, sandworms, and all, navigating the map in Dune: Awakening can feel like a sod's law trek. But good news, you ain't gotta hike it all. Here's the lowdown on swiftly hopping across the map using the game's hidden fast travel system.
Unlocking this trick is as simple as tickling a quest. During the escapade "A Touch of Civilisation" or "A Wider World", you'll visit Griffin's Reach Tradepost. Once there, keep your peepers peeled for an ornithopter pilot lurking in a corner of the main building, usually near the contract board and merchant. Chat this pilot up, and they'll wormhole ya between cities and tradeposts you've already checked out.
Future transports like sandbikes, jeeps, and ornithopters, will come your way. But even the Sandworm couldn't plough through the distances faster than this velocity upgrade.
