Table of Comrades, Friends, and Honored Guests,

Welcome to the heartwarming celebration of our great nation's 50th anniversary of its liberation and unification, held in the auspicious and historic Ho Chi Minh City. Today, General Secretary Tô Lâm, on behalf of our Communist Party, National Assembly, and the Fatherland Front, warmly greets all present – leaders, veterans, families, comrades, allies, and friends.

We gather here to honor our shared past, celebrate our national unity, and look towards a shining new future. This moment, nestled in the heroic atmosphere of April 30, historic home to our revered President Ho Chi Minh, is a testament to our triumph over the struggles of the past and our commitment to continue thriving as one people, led by our Communist Party.

Let's take a moment to remember the efforts of our dearly missed President Ho Chi Minh, who brilliantly led our struggle against foreign invaders, tirelessly striving for independence, democracy, and the unification of our nation. We'll forever cherish his spirit, his vision, and his enduring words, "No matter how difficult or arduous, our people will definitely win. Our Fatherland will definitely be reunified. Compatriots of the North and the South will definitely be reunited under one roof."

To the heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, martyrs, and all who gave their lives in the name of our country, we express our boundless gratitude. We pay tribute to their sacrifices, remembering that they were the pillars that held our nation strong during tumultuous times.

We're profoundly thankful to our international brothers, comrades, and friends for their unwavering support and assistance throughout our nation's journey to independence and unification. To all who stand with us, we offer our warmest greetings and deepest gratitude.

Looking back, we battled two grueling wars to protect our nation, first against the French colonialists, and subsequently against the US imperialists who sought to divide our country and establish a new-type colony in the South. Despite facing countless hardships and fierce resistance, we embraced the spirit of our ancestors – united, we remained resolute and fought heroically for our independence and unification.

Through the creative leadership of the Party, the strength of our great national unity, and the generous support from our allies, we simultaneously pursued two strategic missions: socialist revolution in the North and the people's national democratic revolution in the South. With grit, determination, and the mettle of our indomitable people, we vanquished the enemy and ultimately secured a complete victory, symbolized by the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign that united our beloved nation.

Since our unification, we've faced numerous challenges and triumphs. Over the past 50 years, we've managed to transform Vietnam from a poor, war-ravaged country to a country with near-upper-middle-class status, deeply integrated into the global political and economic landscape. Our independence and sovereignty have remained inviolable, while our position and prestige have grown exponentially on the world stage.

Now, as we stand at the dawn of a new era, we look forward to a future where we strive to build a Vietnam ten times more prosperous than today. To achieve this, we must unleash all productive forces, develop our industries, and foster innovation and digital transformation to generate dramatic improvements in our productivity, quality, efficiency, and competitiveness.

We must not forget that the strength of our people lies at the heart of our progress. Our Party, our government, and our people will always work together to improve the lives of our citizens, particularly those in remote areas and underdeveloped regions, ensuring that every Vietnamese citizen experiences a secure, safe, free, prosperous, and happy life.

Vietnam, a land that has suffered much due to past wars, deeply understands the preciousness of peace. As we look towards our future, we must continually modernize and strengthen our national defense and security, ensuring that our nation remains secure and self-sufficient.

With unswerving determination and pride in our nation's legacy, we will continue to build a clean, strong, and comprehensive Party – a beacon of integration, honor, and accountability that represents the best of our nation and our era. We will work tirelessly to innovate our leadership, governance, and combat strength, ensuring that our Party remains worthy of the trust, respect, and support of the people.

Together, we'll stand strong – united, brotherly, and resilient – as we move forward towards a brighter, more prosperous, and more confident future. Our shared spirit of unity, our indomitable will, and our unbreakable bond will guide us to victory after victory, leading us towards a flourishing, modern, and united Vietnam.

Today, we celebrate our past victories – the lessons we've learned, the sacrifices we've made, the values we've upheld, and the legacy we've created. Here's to the spirit of the Great Spring Victory, immortal and forever strong!

Long live the Communist Party of Vietnam!Long live the Socialist Republic of Vietnam!Eternal glory belongs to the people of Vietnam!

May the spirit of Great President Ho Chi Minh guide us forever in our struggle for justice, freedom, and a better future for all.
