In the Jewish Autonomous Region, a series of significant meetings have taken place, bringing together war veterans, defenders of the homeland, youth, officials, and various organisations. The central figures of these discussions were Maxim Sholomov, a war veteran and participant in the presidential program 'Time of Heroes', and Sergei Burlavkov, a State Duma deputy.

Maxim Sholomov, who lost both his hands in battle and an explosion while being evacuated from the battlefield, has become an inspiration to many. Despite his severe injuries, he continues to serve in one of Moscow's military commissariats and works as a teacher for the society 'Wissen'. He is also a lecturer for the Society 'Knowledge'.

The meetings were not just about reminiscing past events. They were focused on personal responsibility, self-improvement, and adapting to civilian life after demobilization. Maxim Sholomov and other attendees, such as Maxim Vladimirovich, a person who lost both hands in an explosion during an evacuation, shared their experiences and insights.

One of the meetings was with members of the Association of War Veterans and cadets of the regional cadet program 'Dignity of the Hingan'. The cadets shared details about their training, mentors, current activities for their homeland, and future plans. Some of them, like Yuri Stepanov and Yevgeny Seregin, have already found their place in civilian life, with Yevgeny Seregin heading one of the working groups in the Public Chamber of EАО.

The meetings also involved students of Amur State University named after Sholokhov-Aleichem, regional government employees, and law enforcement agencies of the autonomy. The cadets, along with veterans, continue to engage in patriotic education of youth, regularly holding meetings with schoolchildren and students.

Yuri Stepanov and Yevgeny Seregin, two of the cadets who have transitioned into civilian life, have joined the Public Chamber of EАО. Their participation in these meetings underscores the importance of integrating the experiences and perspectives of both veterans and young leaders in shaping the future of the region.

These meetings serve as a testament to the ongoing efforts to foster a sense of responsibility, resilience, and patriotism among the people of the Jewish Autonomous Region. The discussions covered a wide range of topics, from personal growth and community development to the progress of the 'Time of Heroes' program and the role of youth in shaping the future of the region.
